Est. 2015

Canadian background
The founders and chief organizers of our camps were raised in Canada, and they brought their relaxed attitude towards language learning over to Hungary. Many of the seasonal staff are also from Canada.
Number of people and age groups
-
Number of children: 24-32 children/week
-
Age group: 7-17 years old, average camper is 14 years old
The children are divided into smaller groups according to camp type and age group.

Comfortable, clean, functional
Located in Alsóörs, we are a real Balaton summer camp, just a few minute walk away from the beach. The children sleep in rooms with four beds each (2 bunk beds) in wooden houses. The rooms have a sink and toilet, and the showers are in a separate building.
In Pálköve, Lake Balaton is just a stone's throw from the accommodation, which is also an old Balaton children's camp. In addition to the 3-6-bed houses, a community building, a large yard, lots of shady trees, birds and crickets-bugs await our groups of up to 24-32 people.

Language learning without school desks
This is what we call our lessons, when we sit the kids down after hours of activity to engage in some more personal learning. The sessions of our foreign mentors are not like regular language lessons.
Play, play, learn
Mentors from all over the world always bring games we are unfamiliar with, and they are also open to the kids teaching them their favourite games. This allows for learning on a cultural level. Because of our Canadian roots, we introduce baseball to every tournament.
We prepare a large variety of programs and games, in English, of course.

Meals
We provide four hearty meals a day from Sunday dinner to Saturday breakfast, but if the children are still hungry, there is always the option of additional snacks. Children arriving with sensitivities or allergies will receive a locally prepared, dietary menu, taking into account the options of the restaurants, or we will provide appropriate and safe care with separate food delivery services.
Summer at Lake Balaton
We plan for three beach goings per week for our kids, and we always swim in the late afternoon, on a paid, safe, developed beach. Since Lake Balaton is a dangerous place, we follow extremely strict rules when engaging in these activities.
